The girl was born and raised within South Carolina she finished her college education from Clemson University. She then was able to earn a master's degree in broadcast journalism from University of Miami. Right from her childhood Kelly was enticed by the idea of working in television stations as she found the jobs related to television exciting and attractive. Following her graduation after which she was employed as a production associate and intern at ACC Digital Network. Once her formal training was over and she started working for Fox Sports Florida. They worked hard for her to achieve the position that she holds today on MLB Network. It is America's biggest sports news network.
