Megan Gale
Gale was 18 when she was 18 when she won a modeling contest at the age of 18 in Perth. After several years of modelling, Gale rose to fame after being selected in 1999 to appear in a series of advertisements for the Italian telecommunication company, Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) which she starred in advertisements of the company until 2006.She was also commissioned as a model by the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 to represent Australia as they travelled to Italy'. Gale has been featured on the covers of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials published by Australian Cosmopolitan and Vogue Italia. Gale has been a model at Italian fashion houses like Gianfranco Ferre Genny, Gai Mattiolo and also runway with Mariella Burani and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. [9] Gale is also a fan of many Australian designers such as Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. As of 2006, Gale served as the fashion commentator for the Australian awards on television, known as the Logies. In January of 2008, Gale announced her retirement from runway modeling after 15 years and walked the catwalk for the final moment a few days later at the David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. In her final look she wore Wonderwoman's attire in the Justice League of America movie that was never released. Gale made a return to the runway in March of 2011 and completed Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011.
