Sutton Foster won the Tony Award for Best Actress for her performance in Anything Goes. Star Search was her first television appearance when she was just the age of 15. Her next appearances were in Bunheads as well as Psych and also Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. As a solo artist, Sutton has performed all over the United States in addition to internationally along with her musical director Michael Rafter... with songs from her debut solo CD "Wish" along with her follow up CD "An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Caf Carlyle." She performed on stages at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub as well as many more. Ball State University awarded her an Honorary Degree in 2011 as well as continuing to instruct and guide students in the Department of Theatre and Dance. Her new TVLand show, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March of 2015.
