Alison Wright has been an English actor for more than 20 years. Her most well-known work is her leading role as Martha Hanson on the FX period spy drama series The Americans, for which she was praised by critics and received was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in the year 2017. She has also acted in The Ryan Murphy limited series Feud: Bette & Joan and Hollywood. Wright was born July 12, 1976 in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, where she was raised by adoptive parents.
