Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski popularly known by the name Paul Wesley, is an award-winning actor producer and director best known for his role in the cult television the show The Vampire Diaries. His work on the show has earned him numerous distinctions, awards, and nominations. This includes those of the Teen Choice Awards and the "Young Hollywood Awards". Wesley was born in New Brunswick New Jersey and raised within the United States, showed interest in acting during his elementary college days. He then enrolled at Rutgers University. In spite of this when he realised his enormous potential and believed that he would be able to create a career out of his extraordinary acting skills and talents, the actor resigned. The popular American TV soap Another World was his first TV role. His next television role was with his role on the CBS series Wolf Lake. The apex of his career when he began playing Stefan Salvatore in the American television series The Vampire Diaries. Some episodes were directed by the actor. He has appeared in many famous films since the release of the debut of his series, The Last Run. In the last few years the actor has been on Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer. He's also quite popular on social media and has more than 13 million followers on Instagram as well as 4.1 million on Twitter.
